Mosaics for schools

The Mosaic Studio provides a hands-on mosaic art programme for schools and runs exceptional mosaic workshops, in Essex and the South East of England.

Renowned UK Mosaic Artist Paul Siggins and his team who are based in Essex, have inspired thousands of students of all ages in producing beautiful, lasting mosaics.

Whether you’d like to mark an event or achievement, celebrate an anniversary or reflect your heritage and locality, creating a mosaic brings a unique and highly rewarding experience to your students.

Our service is thorough and professional. We bring our studio, enthusiam, skills and experience to your school. We provide an introductory film for your students and even liaise with your local press if you wish!

We take care of all the detail so you and your students can fully enjoy the mosaic experience with no disruption to your time or curriculum.

Your children will be taught by a practised professional and renowned artist – a founder member of the British Assoc. for Modern Mosaic – and will create a highly durable, bespoke mosaic they’ll be proud of.
We tailor every project – in size, scale and duration. We work with all ages and abilities – from toddlers to teens, immersing students throughout in the art of mosaic.

We’re also proud of the warm words we’ve received from many schools – just take a look at the testimonials opposite.

Take a look at our education gallery and do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any project you may have in mind.

The Mosaic Studio were a pleasure to deal with at every stage of the project… Paul was awarded the commission on the strength of his original, imaginative, contemporary design and extensive experience of creating mosaics for public places. The requirements were demanding. Set into the paving of a busy shopping park the mosaics had to be robust and withstand a rigorous maintenance regime. The mosaics were skilfully constructed with minimum disruption to other works.

Working with Paul and Emma from the mosaic studio was a dream.
From the initial meeting to the design and colour concept there was a clear understanding of what I needed and wanted as a client. The outcome for my unique piece of beautiful mosaic art far outweighed my expectation and was installed with care and professionalism from the mosaic studio by Paul himself. Careful preparation and good time management meant it was in for the required date! Paul and his wonderful quirky sidekick Emma’s work is exceptional.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Highly skilled creatives and extremely professional.
They are the real deal!

Jill

Thank you – you must be praised, not only for your artistic and organisational skills, but especially for your lovely, approachable and patient manner with all our children.

We commissioned The Mosaic Studio to produce a mosaic to commemorate a legendary Charlton Athletic Supporter who died of covid in March 2020. They listened very carefully and undertook research about him and the football club so that they could fully appreciate the culture and traditions and how he fitted into them. Not only did they get to know us but we felt that they really “got” us. The outcome was a breathtaking image full of energy and generosity. Charlton supporters will see it and enjoy it every time they arrive for a match and we are very grateful to The Mosaic Studio for their wonderfully imaginative rendition. We would happily recommend them to other football clubs and supporters.
